How the recommendation works
If you can’t do 6 strict pull-ups yet, build your base first. Above that, we scale load from ~5% bodyweight upward, with diminishing returns, and cap the final recommendation at 30kg.

Note that this is an estimate for general fitness and strength training. Other aspects such as streetlifting and competitive weighted training are highly specific and not what the calculator is meant for.
